This pattern is for a 15th century lady’s court costume. The Burgundians were a Germanic tribe of Europeans who settled in the Burgundy area of France during the early middle ages. The area came under French rule in 1477 after France defeated and killed the Duke of Burgundy in the Battle of Nancy.  More details with pattern.
